Lancaster is in the top ten cities of the entire United States for fastest growth.  She has about 145,000 people, up from 37,000 in 1977 when she was incorporated.  Elevation is about 2350'.  Daytime temperatures range between 50 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.  (Winter and Summer).  The biggest boom to Lancaster was due  to aerospace coming to Edwards Air Force Base and Plant 42 (Lockheed, Boeing & Northrup).  Lancaster has a high percentage of homeowners ( 70%).  Entertainment in Lancaster is as diverse as its residents.  The Performing Arts Center hosts live theatre and touring artists.  Clear Channel Stadium is host to the JetHawks Baseball Team.  Movie Theatres abound.  Dining is available at all levels from fast food to fine dining.  Shopping and personal services are abundant.  You have many choices and don't need to leave town.  Antelope Valley Hospital is affiliated with  both nursing and respiratory therapy programs at Antelope Valley College.  Want more information?  Please contact me at:  pinemtn1@frazmtn.com
